Understanding your clients, the market, your investors, your
board, your team, etc., is more than half the battle when it comes
to being a successful startup. This kind of insight into human
beings and human communities will require you to continually
investigate motivations, fears, and ambitions - beginning with
your own. Help your team find ways to know more about
themselves and each other. Strengthen the listening muscle.
The details of a work day are rarely what drive or hinder people.
There are bigger, deeper dynamics at play, and if we cultivate
