You are going to be spending a lot of time together, so it’s good
for you to like the people you choose to work with. Hire them
because they are good at what they do professionally, but let
that be just one thing they are meant to contribute. A ‘whole’
person has many talents that fall outside of their job description,
many interests that may not have anything to do with work, a
hearty sense of humor, and a worldview that can accommodate
change and the vicissitudes of business.
